Issue/Introduction

Can Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange block messages based on their size?

 

Resolution

Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange (SMSMSE) can block emails based on attachment size, but not total size of the message. If you would like to block based on attachment size, please refer to the SMSMSE implementation guide (located in the DOCS\SIFMSMSE folder on the installation media) Chapter 8: "Filtering Content".
