Issue/Introduction
You receive a Non-Delivery Receipt (NDR) from the Brightmail Gateway Appliance stating "
Cause
The email address was rejected as not valid by the recipient's mail server.
Resolution
Verify the recipient's email address.
Technical Information
This can be verified by opening a telnet session from the command line of the Brightmail Gateway and manually sending a message to this address. The server response will be the same, "<email address>
