Issue/Introduction

In Help > Troubleshooting > Connection Status, you see the error "The request was in a format that the server did not expect."

Resolution

This error message indicates that the server returned an HTTP Error 400 (Bad request) when the client tried to connect. Run the Symantec Endpoint Protection Support Tool to diagnose the problem.
