Description:

How can we tell if we are using FAST ERP or EBR?

Note: Refer to TEC595092 as FAST as a Search Engine is no longer available for CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM)customers.

Solution:

• Log in to CA SDM, click the Administration tab, select Options Manager, select Search Engine.
  The Option List is displayed.
  
  
• Click ebr_version.
  The ebr_version Options Detail window is displayed.
  
  
• Click Edit.
  
  
• From the Option Value drop-down list, Verify if "KT Search Engine [FILES]" is selected OR FAST. This provides you the information as to which search engine is being used.
