Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange

Issue/Introduction

The Monitors > Server Status view displays the Auto-Protect state as ‘Stopped, Enabled.’

Cause

The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service is stopped.

Resolution

1. Start the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service.
2. Restart the Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange service.
3. Restart IIS by performing this command from a command prompt:

iisreset
