Resolution

The TSS9079E INVALID DATA, when doing a TSS MODIFY BACKUP, usually means Top Secret was unable to open the backup file during Top Secret startup. The TSS9097E and TSS9004I messages during the startup of Top Secret indicate there was a problem opening the Top Secret BDAM and VSAM backup files.

Verify the backup BDAM/VSAM datasets exist, are cataloged, available, and accessible, and that neither of the dataset names are misspelled in the BACKUP and VSAMBKUP DD statements in the Top Secret startup proc.
