How do I restart the agent on a Symantec Security Information Manager (SSIM) appliance?

 

Resolution

SSIM 4.5
 

    1. Connect to the appliance with an SSH client and login as db2admin, or login to the console as root.
    2. If you connected with an SSH client, switch to the root account with the command: su -
      Enter the password when prompted.
    3. At the command prompt, run the command: service sesagentd stop
    4. Once the service has stopped run the command: service sesagentd start
