Error: "Invalid Updates License" when running LiveUpdate on Scan Engine 5.1.x

Issue/Introduction

When you click "Run LiveUpdate" in the web interface of Scan Engine 5.1.x, the following error appears: "Invalid Updates License".

Symptoms

• Scan Engine uses 100% CPU resources.
• When you stop and then start the Scan Engine service, CPU utilization returns to 25% CPU utilization.
• Virus definitions reflect the date of the product installation.

Conditions

• Scan Engine 5.1.6.31 is installed on a Windows operating system.
• No other security or backup software is installed on the same machine as the Scan Engine.

Resolution

Please refer to the .PDF file you originally received from Licensing. Typically, more than one license is present. Please ensure that you have obtained and inserted all licenses for the product.
