Issue/Introduction

You installed Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange 6.x on your Small Business Server 2003 Exchange server. When you restart the computer you receive a Health Monitor error or a Faulting Application error.

Symptoms
You receive one of the following errors:

 

• You receive a Health Monitor error that reads, "Health Monitor has encountered a problem and needs to close."
   
• A C++ runtime error that reads, "Faulting application dredger.exe, faulting module msjetole."

The Application event log displays the following error:

Event Source: Application Error
Event ID: 1000
Description:
Faulting application dredger.exe, version 2.11.2061.0, faulting module msjetoledb40.dll, version 4.0.9502.0, fault address 0x0000d284.

 

Resolution
