Issue/Introduction

Symptoms
After applying a new .slf license file to Symantec Protection Engine (formerly Scan Engine), the Scan Engine GUI homepage still reflects the old expiration date. When the license is viewed through selecting "Monitor" and then "License" the expiration date reflects the correct date.
 

Resolution

Refresh the browser so that the Scan Engine GUI is reloaded, or completely close and re-open Internet Explorer to update the expiration date on the Status page.
