Releasing messages from spam quarantine

You need to release one or more messages from the spam quarantine in Symantec Messaging Gateway.


Releasing from spam quarantine can only be done by:

  • Administrators with Manage Quarantine rights. Administrators log directly into their Quarantine view.
  • End users if they are part of a policy group that has End User Quarantine enabled. End users log directly into their Quarantine view.

Once viewing the Spam Quarantine list, users or administrators can release one or more emails by selecting them from the list and clicking the Release button, or by viewing the individual message, and then clicking the Release button.
