KNOWN ISSUE: t5545 thin clients reboot loop after imaging

Issue/Introduction

When imaging a HP t5545 thin client with post configuration the thin client gets stuck in a reboot loop

Cause

some files the adlagent and express engine is trying to change are marked as read only in the operating system. When the reboot call is made those changes are undone to orginial settings. When the machine checks back into the deployment server the adlagent tries to re apply the settings and repeats this for unknown amount. This is causing a reboot loop.

Resolution

Symantec is aware of the issue and is working with HP to update the t5545 image from HP to have those files with Read and Write permissions.

HP has released a new Image for the t5545 thin clients. Download and install this newer image to resolve this issue.
