The current error message in the log is as follows:
“Failed to copy the eXpress Client service to \\<IP>\ADMIN$\AeXSWDInstSvc.exe.
Error: Access to the path \\<IP>\ADMIN$\AeXSWDInstSvc.exe is denied.”
Currently no error message is displayed in the Symantec Management Console. An appropriate error message will be added in a future release.
You cannot push install the Altiris Agent to a computer if you do not have access to the Admin$ share on that computer. The specified push credentials must have local administrator rights on the destination computer. If there is no access to the Admin$ share, the Altiris Agent push install fails.
To resolve this issue, you need to specify the appropriate push credentials in the Altiris Agent Installation Options window (click Installation Settings in the Altiris Agent Install page).

Note that if you do not specify custom credentials in the Altiris Agent Installation Options page, the Notification Server Application Identity credentials are used by default.
