Issue/Introduction

Managed resources stop being merged with their AD imported resources as the managed resource loses its name.domain value when running basic inventory.

The following warning is recorded in the agent log file:

Cause

The NSAgent will not be able to obtain the domain name if the Workstation service is not running as it will not be able to perform its domain function calls.

Resolution

Ensure that the Workstation service is running at all times.
