Issue/Introduction

I receive the following error when I select Have Disk within the Windows PE boot image to add the driver to the Driver list:

The specified service does not exist as an installed service. The service name is invalid 1060.

The driver will not populate the Driver summary. However, The driver does show up in the Bootwiz/Platforms/WinPE/Drivers/X86/I386/CUSTOM.

Cause

Unknown.

Resolution

A different string needs to be added to each .ini file:

C:\eXpress share\Bootwiz\Platforms\

There are three Winpexxxx.ini Configuration settings.

Add the following to the [INF_VER] section in "platforms\winpex86.ini:

NTx86.5.1.1=

Add the following to the [INF_VER] section in "platforms\winpex64.ini:

NTamd64.5.1.1=

Add the following to the [INF_VER] section in "platforms\winpeia64.ini:

NTia64.5.1.1=

Save the changes and reopen the Boot disk creator.
