Issue/Introduction

Introduction: 

When CA Service Desk Manager (SDM) is configured to authenticate via EEM and the user's password expires, SDM informs the user of that and redirects to the EEM main login page.

This document explains whether or not it is possible to redirect to the Change Password screen of EEM directly.

Question: 

Is it possible to redirect to the Change Password screen of EEM directly without appearing the EEM home screen when the password is expired?

Environment:  

CA Service Desk Manager R12.x, R14.1

Embedded Entitlements Manager R8.4, R12.0, R12.5, R12,51

Answer: 

It is not possible to have SDM redirecting directly to the EEM change password screen when the user's password expired.

This is not configurable.
