Issue/Introduction

Receiving error “SQLCMD.EXE does not exist in the server path” while trying to install AppStream server with Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

Cause

System variables path for sqlcmd.exe are not set properly.

Resolution

1. Navigate to the location of sqlcmd.exe, “%ROOTDRIVE%\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Bin,” and copy the path.
2. Right-click on My Computer, go to Properties, click on the Advanced tab, click on Environment Variables, and add the above path to Paths.
