CTDataload.exe Dropping Client Task Events

Issue/Introduction

The client task job is not running correctly on my client machine.  I show the tasks completing, but the resulting patch process does not run consistently.  I also see the following errors in the Notification Server logs:

Description: Dropping event (Resource: UTY-SYD-512, TaskInstance:
64c02b70-bb0e-41fb-aff3-81d32229860e, Time: 3/7/2008 8:43:14 AM) that we've failed 6 times to insert

Cause

A defect in the Software Delivery Agent for Task Server Plug-in causes a condition where it will not download the package.

Resolution

A new dll file has been released which fixes this problem.  It is found as a part of KB 43736
