Issue/Introduction

I have just upgraded to Deployment Solution 6.9. Where can I find the WinPE 2.1 install files?

Resolution

To install support for WinPE 2.1 boot images in Deployment Solution 6.9, download the WinPE 2.1 installer packages from the Altiris Deployment Solution 6.9 download site. There are separate WinPE 2.1 installers available for x86 (32-bit), x64 (64-bit), and ia64 (Itanium).

Deployment Solution 6.9 supports only WinPE 2.1 build 6.0.6001.18000.

Use the option to Add Preboot within the PXE configuration when you create a New WinPE Boot image.
