Issue/Introduction

If an administrator resets a user’s Windows domain password, the user may need to re-register his or her Registered Computer credential. (3896206)

Resolution

The user must re-register the device.

When an administrator resets a user’s Windows domain password, the user may lose access to certificates and keys, including those associated with the Registered Computer credential.

Anything that causes Windows to lose track of the keys associated with the Registered Computer credential will force the user to re-register the device.
