Issue/Introduction

How can we set up multiple LDAP Sync Clusters?

Environment

VIP Enterprise Gateway

Resolution

Caution: A synchronization will affect the user store from the account the VIP Certificate is from. A demo account is recommended for testing the EG installation configuration changes.

To configure a Synchronization Cluster:  

  1. Log into the VIP Enterprise Gateway console where the cluster will be configured.
  2. Select Settings from the top navigation bar.
  3. Select System Settings.
  4. Click Edit under Synchronization Cluster.
  5. Input a name in the Name field. This name can be anything but must be different from the current value.​
  6. Click Save.

If configured properly, LDAP sync will run without overwriting the other sync changes.
