Issue/Introduction

JavaScript integration fails during optimization when configuring a user store with multiple percent signs (%) in the user filter and when the enterprise login ID mapping is enabled in VIP Services.

Cause

This issue occurs when user store value of two or more attributes are common. As a result, multiple entries of same values are eliminated during the optimization process when values of certain login formats are deleted.

Resolution

Complete the following steps on the VIP Enterprise Gateway machine to update the configuration page:

1. Download and extract the attached Fix_Javascript_login.zip file into a temporary folder. This will extract the file engine.jar.
2. Stop the following services (if applicable):
   1. VIP Enterprise Gateway Service
   2. Self-Service Portal IdP Service
   3. VIP Manager IdP Service
   4. LDAP Sync Service
3. Locate the existing engine.jar in <VIPEG_InstallDir>\server\ext. Rename this to engine.jar.old.
4. Copy the new engine.jar file from step 1 into this location
5. Start all services.
