Using Service Catalog 12.9 with Windows Internet Explorer 8.0, 9.0, ro 10.0 - When adding attachment get error Filename can not be more than 100 characters long. Please enter new filename.


When using Windows Internet Explorer 8.0, 9.0, or 10.0 the path and file name are counted together causing the error.

Please disable the below setting in Internet browser, due to security reasonMicrosoft has given this option to enable/disable.

IE option under:
Internet Options
Security tab
"local Intranet" click on Custom Level
In the Security Settings scroll down until you see "Include local directorypath when uploading files to a server" and disable it. Click OK on InternetOptions window and refresh.

Note: After this setting you can upload up to 255 character long file.
