Import stops with error, "There is no such object on the server"

Issue/Introduction

Even after applying KB29386, imports are failing with the error, "There is no such object on the server."

Cause

The error reported here occurs when the LDAP query search contains an AD object that does not really exist. AD connector queries LDAP for an object's ADsPath attribute and LDAP returns with an error. This error causes the rule to fail, rather than skipping to the next object.

Resolution

This is resolved in AD Connector 6.1 Hotfix 3 (KB34704). Information about this hotfix can be found in article 34704.
