When pushing the NS Agent for Unix to an AIX client, the client experiences a Tttyhog over-run error.
The cause is not completely determined. However, it appears to be a problem with the client-side drivers. Note the following:
Explanation: Data received from the frame attached to the named tty contains invalid data. This error is an indication of either insuffcient buffer space in the tty driver or noise on the line.
User Response: Check the error log for errors from the named tty indicating ttyhog over-run. If such errors are found contact IBM support. Otherwise, verify that the RS-232 connection to the named frame is secure. If this error occurs repeatedly contact IBM support.

One possible remedy on the Altiris side, is to modify the 'upload speed' option in the Unix agent installation settings page.
