Issue/Introduction

Installation of a new Reporter device is requiring a license to be loaded.

Resolution

To apply license for Reporter you will need to have access to the device serial console or SSH access.

Reporter that has access to the Internet

>enable
Enable Password
#conf t
(config)# licensing
(config-licensing)# load [username] [passphrase]

• Username and Passphrase will be an account that access to the license through the Broadcom support portal.

Reporter with no access to the internet

The license file will need to be download from the Broadcom Support Portal and hosted on a server that the Reporter server will be able to access.

(config)# licensing
(config-licensing)# load url passphrase

Note: Allow one minute for services to start before attempting to access the Report interface.
