Should open Office applications be close prior to installing the DLP Agent?

Are you required to close open Office applications when you install the DLP Endpoint Agent, with or without the ICT agent and ICE utility?

DLP 15.X, 16.X

Resolution

It is a generally accepted practice to close open programs when you install other software.
However, we have no written guidance that requires that you do so.
