Issue/Introduction

This error appear when applying a Prevention policy to a Windows 64 bits machine:

"Policy Translation Failed: In sym_win_prot_sdcssagent_bcd; file; <map>: Translator function OsVersionMatch failed: This policy cannot be applied to Windows 2003 x64"

Cause

A specific option needs to be ticked in the prevention policy to apply a policy on a Windows 64 bits machine

Resolution

In the Java console, go in the prevention policy in Global Policy Options\Additional Parameter Settings\, enable "Allow policy to be applied to Windows 2003 64-bit systems"

Re-apply the policy
