Issue/Introduction

You receive a "Cycle Prohibited" exception from Web Isolation proxy.

Resolution

The Web Isolation proxy will deliver an exception to the client machine if it determines the request would cause a loop (a request for itself). The following message is delivered to the client:

 

Cycle Prohibited

Description: Could not process your request for the document
because it would cause an HTTP proxy cycle.  Please check the URL and your
browser's proxy settings.
