Does Window User Creation Need a Password

Issue/Introduction

When creating a user in Management Center it asks for a password when the user will be using Active Directory for Authentication.

Environment

• Management Center is configured to use Active Directory for Authentication.

Resolution

• As long as the username entered in Management Center matches the username in Windows Active directory, Management Center will use Active Directory to authenticate.
• Password entered during creation of user is a placeholder and not used.
