symcscan crashes under heavy load

Issue/Introduction

symcscan crashes from time to time under heavy load at different places in code section.

 

 

Resolution

The issue can be avoided by configuring workerthread number to be static. 
That is, by setting "MinThreads" and "MaxThreads" to same number. i.e.) 64 & 64.

Symantec recognizes this issue and plans to update SPE in future release.
