Issue/Introduction

Add new Symantec Endpoint Protection Mobile (SEP Mobile) Environment

Test new MDM/UEM provider with SEP Mobile

Cause

SEP Mobile requires integration components (MDM/UEM & Security Gateway) to be configured before deploying SEP Mobile to the mobile devices.

New Environments can be created by SEP Mobile Administrators to test new integrations, setup new Security Compliance policies, etc.

Resolution

To add a new SEP Mobile Environment if you only have one environment setup

In the top left corner of the screen click the 3 vertical dots between the SEP Mobile icon and your Environment logo on the top left corner of the screen, or the Home Icon if the environment logo hasn't been configured.

Hit Add a new environment...

Fill out the Environment name, Display name,Short name, and select the Datacenter location between US Enterprise and European Union

Hit Add Environment

If you already have 2 or more environments configured

In the lower left corner of the screen hit the + button

Fill out the Environment name, Display name,Short name, and select the Datacenter location between US Enterprise and European Union

Hit Add Environment
