The implications of being overdeployed or having an expired license in Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) 14.x.

Cause

Expired Paid License or overdeployment.

Resolution

The capability of submitting samples and data to Insight is revoked but content updates are still available. The Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) will generate alerts and popups to warn the administrator of the non-compliance.
