Can SEP Mobile protection against phishing attacks

Phishing protection is included as a default category when SEP Mobile is configured to Block unwanted network content.

SEP Mobile can also protect against SMS phishing attacks on iOS.

To configure SMS phishing protection for iOS devices:

Login to the MC and navigate to Settings>Security>Protection Actions>Automatic Protection Against Network Content Threats. Click to expand Block phishing SMS messages and check the box. Hit the Apply Changes button on the banner that will appear on the top of the page. When the protection setting is active, there will be a green vertical bar with a checkmark directly to the left of the Protection Action.

End users will need to enable the phishing protection on their devices by going to Settings>Messages>Message Filtering>Unknown & Spam>SMS Filtering and then toggle the switch to on. When prompted to Enable SEP Mobile SMS Spam Filter select Enable.
