Issue/Introduction

The following forms have extra space at the top of three forms in ServiceDesk 8.5 RU2:

  • Submit Incident Form
  • Submit Advanced Incident Form
  • Work Incident Form

ServiceDesk 8.5 RU2

Resolution

This is a bug that will be fixed in 8.5 RU3.

However, there is a workaround. Please use the following steps

  1. Open Workflow Manager
  2. Go to File>Open Project
  3. From the Pop-up Windows file directory find "SD.Feeder.TechnicianIncidentForms" and Open it.
  4. Click "OK" on the "Unpackage Project" Pop-up
  5. Click "Continue" on the "Resource Refresh" Pop-up. This will open the Workflow Designer
  6. In the Left Panel (called Find Components) click on SD.Feeder.TechnicianIncidentForms0 at the top of the tree.
  7. Choose the "Publishing" tab in the form that pop-up.
  8. Uncheck the box called, "Center Forms on Page" (Red arrow below).

 

  1. Publish the project.
  2. Repeat Steps 2-8 above for the following projects.
    1. SD.Forms.IncidentManagement
    2. SD.IncidentManagementSimple.EndUserRequest
