Check and update Web Traffic Redirection Engine version

Issue/Introduction

The user needs to check the version of Web Traffic Redirection (WTR) engine and if needed upgrade it.

Resolution

To check the WTR engine version check the following:

1. Open your Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) and under the status tab, click on help.
   
2. From the help menu, select troubleshooting.
   
3. On the troubleshooting windows, go to Version and under engines, scroll down to the bottom. There it will show the WTR engine and frame versions.
   
4. To update the engine, if needed. From the SEP menu, at the bottom, is a button called LiveUpdate.
   
5. Click the LiveUpdate and let the update progress. Once done, you will see a message saying LiveUpdate session is complete.
   
6. Close the window and check the engine version again.
