WSS showing Auth Connector version as unknown

Issue/Introduction

Web Security Service (WSS) Portal shows Version unknown for the Auth Connector:

Environment

Web Security Services - WSS

Cause

This information is shown just after the Auth Connector is configured and starts to communicate with the Control Pod. The version is updated after the first user connects to WSS.

Resolution

There is no error, the information about the version is updated after the Auth Connector sends a message to Control Pod informing the status of its connections to the Data Pods. This process begins with the authentication process described in our WebGuide.
