Error when we are try to activate Office365 Securlet.

Invalid username or password. Reference: xxxxXXXXxxxxXXXXxxxx

The errors happens when we check "Sites checkbox" and click on "Import Sites" during O365 Securlet activation

Unable to import Sites during the Office 365 Securlet activation because of an invalid username / password error

Resolution

Manually import the Office 365 SharePoint sites

To import your Sites from a CSV format file, click the Select CSV file to upload box, or drag a CSV file into the box, then click Import via CSV.

Note: The CSV file must list the sites with their full URLs but without trailing slashes.

To create a CSV of all the sites on an instance of Office 365 do the following:

  1. Login to Office 365 with a global admin user

  2. Click on the Apps dial pad and choose Admin

  3. Click Show All

  4. Then click SharePoint under Admin centers

  5. Click on Active sites then click Export

  6. Open the exported CSV and edit it, so it only shows the site URLs in column A with no Column header

  7. Reduce Sites list to one top level Site URL

  8. Click Save and use this CSV to import Sites when reactivating the O365 Securlet.

  9. Click Save

  10. Repeat 1-9 if needed for each additional O365 Account with Sites being added

Additional Information

Note: For clients who have a large amount of sites - importing a large CSV list may timeout.

Sharepoint Sites import should also work with just one top-level site entered from client's MS 365 Account into the CSV.

Then - soon after MS 365 Securlet is successfully activated - Client should see the rest of the O365 Sites being imported in CloudSOC Investigate activities
