"452 Requested action not taken disk space unavailable" error for message in delivery queue

Issue/Introduction

The email delivery queue is currently experiencing persistent failures, resulting in messages being deferred due to a specific technical error.

The error message is: "452 Requested action not taken: disk space unavailable"

This notification signifies a critical resource constraint: the receiving mail server has run out of available storage capacity (disk space) for mail storage or processing. Because of this lack of free disk space, the system is unable to accept new incoming mail. Delivery attempts are therefore being temporarily rejected or deferred until the disk space issue on the receiving mail server is resolved.

Cause

The error message originates from the recipient's mail server. 

Resolution

Resolution of this issue requires collaboration with the administrators of the receiving email server, as the error is not being generated by the Messaging Gateway.
