Resolution

Porfavor tome nota que las instruciones en español estan adjuntas en al final de este documento
Step 1. Download language pack file Symantec_DLP_15.5_Lang_Pack-ML.zip from:

https://mysymantec.force.com/customer/s/

Step 2. Unpack file Symantec_DLP_15.5_Lang_Pack-ML.zip

Step 3. Run utility LanguagePackUtility.exe from:

...installationpath\Program Files\Symantec\DataLossPrevention\EnforceServer\15.5\Protect\bin with -a switch, include full path to language pack.

Example:

LanguagePackUtility -a c:\temp\DLP_15.5-Spanish.zip

Step 3. Run utility LanguagePackUtility.exe from:

...installationpath\Program Files\Symantec\DataLossPrevention\EnforceServer\15.5\Protect\bin with -c switch, include full path to language pack.

Example:

LanguagePackUtility -c es_ES

Where es_ES is the Java locale nomenclature for Spanish, as listed here:

https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/java8locales-2095355.html

Note: Java locales shows the language tag with a dash but the LanguagePackUtility accepts only underscores, for instance es_ES but not es-ES.

Step 4. Configure language in console. Go to System-->Settings-->General and Configure

Change the System Default Language to Spanish by checkmarking the radio button Spanish (Spain)-espanol (Espana)

Save changes and logout of the DLP console

Step 5.  Login to DLP console and edit user profiles to use Spanish as the default language for the console.

Go to System-->Login Management-->DLP Users and click on the user to be edited.

Under General section change the Language to Spanish by checkmarking the radio button Spanish (Spain)-espanol (Espana)

supply a password in the Authentication section; it has to be reentered every time a change is done in the users configuration.

Save changes

Language should be active now

Note: incidents should show the proper Latin America Date format (e.g. Fecha 24/07/18 10:19 ).
