ICT Taxonomy Synchronization is failing in DLP after change ICT service account's password

After changing the password for the ICT Service account, the automatic taxonomy synchronization stopped working in DLP.

In the DLP Enforce tomcat localhost log, an error is captured as below:

com.vontu.manager.admin.tag.IctSynchronizationException: Error occured while synchronizing ICT classification taxonomy 2 counts of InaccessibleWSDLException.

In the ICT server IIS log, a 401 error will be seen in the event of taxonomy synchronization.

The credential for the ICT service account in DLP Enforce has not been updated.


Login to Enforce console and go to System -> Settings -> Credentials.
Edit the credential for ICT service account and reenter the password after that save the credential.
Restart Symantec DLP Services in Enforce server in correct order by following the article
After the service restart, login to the Enforce console and try to sync ICT Taxonomy.
The taxonomy synchronization will be successful.
