Unable to apply a Company Logo to the Software Portal Settings page

Resolution

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

  1. Browse to the Software Portal Settings page under Manage > All Settings > Software > Software Portal Settings.
  2. Right-click on the Software Portal Settings icon and choose Export.
  3. Save to a local location.
  4. Right-click on the saved XML and choose Edit.
  5. Find the tag <UseCompanyLogo> and change the value to True (use False if you wish to disable the logo). It should look like this:
    <UseCompanyLogo>True</UseCompanyLogo>
  6. Save the changes.
  7. Back in the console, right-click on the Software Portal Settings folder and choose Import.
  8. Browse to the edited XML and click OK to import.
  9. Done!
