Issue/Introduction

Random hangs are noticed on Windows 2012 R2 Server when Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.0.3752.1000 (14.0 RU1) is installed. The machine locks, no response. RDP session shows a black screen. Ping is responsive.

Resolution
