Clicking a link to a Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) report from within the Symantec Threat Defense for Active Directory (TDAD) core console, where both products are hosted on the same machine, results in the link not functioning.
SEPM and TDAD core are installed to the same machine.
SEPM logic in 14.2 and below prevents accessing the reports if the SEPM shares the same hostname as the TDAD console.
Installing SEPM and TDAD core console on the same machine is only supported on Windows Server 2019 with SEPM 14.3 and above. TDAD 3.6.2.8 is recommended for best results.
All prior versions of SEPM and TDAD products do not support being installed to the same machine. Please ensure that TDAD and SEPM are installed to separate machines with unique hostnames.
