Issue/Introduction

To reset SpanVA password:

The account will be locked for 10 minutes if there are too many failed login attempts (five incorrect login attempts). 

 

Resolution

  • If you received message indicating account is locked, wait 10 minutes for the account to unlock
  • Reset the password
    1. Log into CloudSOC with admin privileges
      • https://app.elastica.net
      • https://app.eu.elastica.net
    2. Click the Settings cog/gear icon in the upper-right hand corner
    3. Click the CloudSOC SpanVA tab on the left
    4. Click Status Monitor
    5. Select the SpanVA in question
    6. Click the blue "Reset SpanVA Password" button
    7. It can take a few minutes for the new password to sync to the SpanVA
