Issue/Introduction

DLP Endpoint Agent machine name is exporting to CSV in scientific format

Environment

DLP 15.1 MP1

Excel 2016

Cause

This is a built in function of Excel and cannot be turned off.

Resolution

You can work around the issue by importing the CSV file into Excel instead of double-clicking it to open.

Please refer to Microsoft if you need additional assistance with the below steps.

1. Open Excel.
2. Click on the Data tab.
3. Click on From Text/CSV.
4. Browse to your CSV file and click Open.
5. Click Transform Data. (This and step 6. may not be needed)
6. Then click Close & Load.
