Endpoint Threat Defense for Active Directory

Issue/Introduction

After installation of Symantec Endpoint Threat Defense for Active Directory (TDAD), most of the Core server services are stopped: MongoDB ,SETDADMySQL, SETDADCore & SETDADUISvc. Restarting the computer does not resolve the issue.

Windows could not start the Symantec Endpoint Threat Defense for AD MongoDB Server service on Local Computer.
Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure.

Windows could not start the Symantec Endpoint Threat Defense for AD Web Service service on Local Computer.
Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure.

Cause

File and folders set to read-only.

Resolution

The TDAD installation folder, MongoDB folder, and Apache Software Foundation folder under Program Files need to have read-only unchecked in the right-click, properties.
