HTTP/HTTPS support for RR in SPE 7.5.5/ CSAPI 10.1.7

Issue/Introduction

Customer can make use of HTTP & HTTPS for Rapid Release download in SPE 7.5.5.

Resolution

Please download hotfix SPE 7.5.5 HF17, which is attached to this article.

hotfix application procedure is as follows:

1. Stop Protection Engine service.

Note*: If the liveupdate is running, please let it complete.

2. Take back up files of follwoing files:

3. Copy binaries in hotfix onto installed direcotry/folder.

4. On Linux/Solaris platform, configure file permission and ownershp, so as to match existing ones.

5. Restart Protection Engine service.
