Issue/Introduction

• AWS Marketplace ProxySG DNS Keeps Resetting
• After statically changing the "Primary DNS" (Domain Name Server) on an AWS (Amazon Web Services) Marketplace deployed ProxySG and then rebooting the device, the ProxySG reverts the "Primary DNS" on the proxy back to the default AWS VPC (Virtual Private Cloud).

Environment

ProxySG Deployed from AWS Marketing version 6.7.x

Cause

The reset of the "Primary DNS" to the default DNS for the AWS VPC is the expect procedure for an AWS Marketplace deployed ProxySG.

Resolution

• Work with the AWS Support Team to route DNS requests through the default AWS VPC DNS to preferred DNS server.
