Post configuration that places files in a user profile does not work with a Managed Delivery Policy. For example, XML files placed in a folder within C:\Users\etc... will not appear when the policy runs.
The Software Portal also exhibits this problem with software published to the portal.
By default, Managed Policies and Quick Delivery Tasks use the System Account to execute. The Software Portal creates a Quick Delivery Task to service software published directly to the portal (not via a policy).
Executions have to run as the logged-on user in order to access their profile, including file locations. This can be set in the following location.
For the Software Portal, a Managed Delivery Policy should be used since it can be configured, where as direclty published software cannot.
NOTE: If the logged in user does not have rights to install software, you may need to separate any configuration files into another task that simply copies them.
